Joshua Sharpe began his tattoo apprenticeship in 1999 and spent over two decades honing his craft at Under the Needle in Seattle before bringing his experience to UTN The Harbor on San Juan Island.
He now tattoos at Rain Line Tattoo & Piercing in Bellevue, alongside a community of independent artists who share ideas, inspiration, and creative energy. His work is rooted in the light within everything—how a design feels, how it moves with the body, and what it means to the person wearing it. Drawing on decades of experience, Joshua creates deeply personal work that becomes more than a tattoo: a talisman, a story, and something to carry for a lifetime.
